Ten stories above Madison Avenue, overlooking the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the treetops of Central Park, lies a city oasis primed for comfort. Serving as a home away from home for our clients—whose primary residence is a charming log cabin in New Jersey—this penthouse is a luxurious, calm pied-à-terre.
Our clients emphasized the need for a space to both entertain and recharge. In the dining room, beneath a cascading chandelier resembling a magnolia branch, a group of ten can relax in soft blue leather chairs to enjoy intimate conversation and a breathtaking view of Manhattan. In the library, a cashmere rug warms the room as sunlight streams across custom-made bookshelves.
Transforming a new construction into our clients' ideal modern sanctuary was a meditative journey with a sumptuous result. By mixing soft textures with blue accents and natural tones, we brought our clients' dream city home to life.
