Shannon Connor Interiors is a full-service, luxury interior design firm based in Princeton, NJ, working with clients across the United States and internationally. Our studio manages new home design and build, residential renovations, and comprehensive decorating projects through a thoughtful, highly personalized process.
Our work is defined by intentional, enduring design—spaces that feel refined yet relaxed, curated yet deeply livable. Drawing from a broad range of styles and eras, we thoughtfully layer vintage, antique, and new furnishings and finishes to create interiors with depth, character, and longevity. Our aesthetic blends traditional and modern elements in a way that feels both timeless and personal, focusing on heirloom pieces and evoking a feeling of awe when you enter a space. Every design decision is made with care; striking a balance between form, function, and feel.
This philosophy to design guarantees no two projects are ever the same. Each is singular in its approach, shaped by the client’s personal needs and the site aesthetic rather than a prescribed signature style. We listen carefully and help guide decisions with clarity and confidence, acting as a trusted partner throughout the entire process.
We want you to feel comfortable in your own space and for your project to be a true reflection of you and the story you want to tell. Our goal is to create deeply meaningful interiors—spaces that restore, inspire, and ultimately transform the way you live.

Creating spaces that tell your story

Shannon started out her career in New York City in the early 90s. In 2002, she established Shannon Connor Interiors. Forgoing a traditional education for one learned in the field and from an experienced mentor, Shannon has a singular approach to design and the pursuit of a dream, whether that be an interior, a feeling, or a way of life.

In 2012, Shannon opened Indigo by Shannon Connor Interiors, a boutique home furnishings store in Palmer Square, Princeton, NJ. While sourcing for Indigo, Shannon rediscovered her passion for unique decor and furniture through the meditative nature of discovery. Shannon appreciates storytelling in every form and carefully selects interiors to tell your story.

Shannon has interwoven her passion of design into her lifestyle. In her free-time, she loves to travel, discover new places, and perhaps stumble upon that perfect statement piece for one of her projects. She also loves to attend workshops and lectures, continuously in pursuit of learning. Shannon has a passion for racket sports and spending time in her community.

Now, decades into her tenure as a small business owner, Shannon’s skills and experience as a creative lead, an employer, a mentor, a manager, and a source of inspiration for clients and peers alike is evident at every turn.

The key is to get it done right.  There are no shortcuts to great interior design.  It's a lot of hard work but along the way what you realize is that it is the ultimate way to take good care of yourself and your family.  You are setting up a space to live your life in.  That's really important stuff and taking the time to do it right, so you can feel confident, powerful, comfortable and happy is not a luxury, it's a necessity. Everyone deserves a well designed home, everyone needs a great interior designer to accomplish that.  It's simply too great a task to tackle alone and often you will let emotions get in the way of making the best decisions.  I am there to make sure that doesn't happen.

Zoe brings a unique blend of hands-on fabrication experience, technical expertise, and creative design vision to Shannon Connor Interiors.
